Collection: Kelp Craft
Carefully selected pieces of Bull Kelp must be fresh, of a certain size and thickness. The colour of the Bull Kelp can vary from different shades of yellow, green, brown, red or black.
A special method is used to preserve, dry and manipulate the Bull Kelp to transform it into a variety of items and souvenirs. It will shrink about a third of its original size in the drying process which also results in a significant loss in the weight of the product.
The finished product is clear coated which may give the product the look and effect of leather or ceramics.
